Meet the General Contractor
Hello and thank you for checking out Blanchard Construction. I'm Alan Blanchard, your general contractor. After working for several construction companies over the years (residential and commercial), I founded Blanchard Construction in 2013 because I felt there was something missing in the whole process.
Though I love the idea of building from the ground up, there was such an emphasis on speed when building new construction. This offered little time to interact with subs, trades, and certainly not the customer. Remodeling allows for a more deliberate, creative pace but not to the point where you feel like we are “moving in”. After 22 years of experience in construction, I will be able to nurture your vision so you can watch it materialize right there in front of your eyes. We can take on your unique project and it would be our honor to make it happen for you.
A Mission Beyond Construction
In addition to helping those less fortunate locally, I truly love going outside our borders with a missions organization to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We try to address the relational, physical, and spiritual.
Of the 35 trips, in a dozen or so countries, we have been involved in some construction but we were also there to provide medical assistance, food distribution, and evangelism. Additionally, my friends and I have given away thousands of gently used, stuffed animals to the children we meet all over the world. Nothing puts my own life into perspective more than going beyond myself for the sake of others. This doesn’t make me special, trust me, I realize I am a small cog in a big wheel, but I am committed to keeping it moving as best as I can. And I will bring that same passion to your world, too.
